In-Office Procedures

Endometrial Biopsy & Ablation

Endometrial ablation is a procedure performed where the lining of your uterus is removed surgically.

This minimally invasive procedure does not require any incision and biopsies can also be collected and sent off for analysis.

Colposcopy

A colposcopy is recommended after an abnormal Pap smear test result. Your doctor will examine your cervix, vagina and vulva for signs of disease using a special instrument called a colposcope. During the colposcopy, a small sample of tissue (also called a biopsy) is collected and sent to a lab to be tested.

L.E.E.P.

Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (L.E.E.P.) is a treatment used to prevent cervical cancer. It is typically done after an abnormal Pap smear, colposcopy, or biopsy. Your doctor will use a small electrical loop to remove abnormal cells from the cervix.

Intrauterine Device (IUD)

IUDs are an exceptional form of birth control for many women. An IUD is a small, T-shaped plastic device that is either wrapped in copper or contains hormones that can prevent pregnancy.

Nexplanon Birth Control Implant

These birth control devices live in your arm, eliminating the need for oral contraceptives!
Most people just feel a little pinch or stinging when they get the numbing shot. After that, you shouldn’t be able to feel the implant being inserted.

Skin Lesion Removal

Moles and skin lesions can lead to more serious skin and health concerns. Removal involves a little pinch from a numbing injection, and then removal.
