Dr. Patton
Dr. Patton completed a combined undergraduate and medical doctorate program at the University of Missouri–Kansas City Medical School and then did her OB/Gyn residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. She was highly recognized during her residency, receiving the Resident Research Award from MDMC’s Lectureship Series and also authoring a presentation selected by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for presentation at their annual clinical meeting. Dr. Patton has chosen to continue to practice in association with MDMC in order to train residents as a voluntary faculty member of the OB/Gyn Residency Program. Through this association, she provides hands-on training to the future physicians in the field.
She has a particular area of expertise and interest in breastfeeding education for healthcare providers and patients alike. At Kessler Women’s Healthcare, she functions as our onsite Medical Lactation Consultant and has lectured medical providers and patients throughout Dallas/Fort Worth on the public health benefits of prolonged breastfeeding.
Dr. Patton is also a leader in the OBGyn Department at MDMC, serving as its Department Chair from 2018-2022, and she is currently the Maternal Medical Director for MDMC, a position committed to a high quality of care for all pregnant persons treated at our hospital!
Dr. Patton is also trained in DaVinci Robotic Gyn Surgery and is certified to perform a single-site robotic hysterectomy and ovarian surgery. Her commitment to minimally invasive surgery helps each patient get back to her busy life as quickly as possible. As a busy mother herself, she understands there is no time for down time!
Dr. Foxworth
A native Texan, Dr. Foxworth is originally from the Houston area. She received her undergraduate degree from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia and her medical degree from Medical College in Nashville, TN.
Following the completion of her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2003 at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, she spent four years serving in the United States Army as an active duty military officer. She was the Chief of OB/Gyn at Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital at Ft. Polk, LA.
Dr. Foxworth returned to the Dallas area following her military service, and began her medical practice here in 2007.
She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as an active member of the Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Huynh
Dr. Huynh received her Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from U.T. Dallas, her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from University of Texas, Ft. Worth while also serving as a Clinical Educator for Provant Health, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Houston Methodist Hospital. She is certified in Laparoscopic Surgery and the daVinci Robotic System.
Dr. Huynh’s passion is taking care of women in all stages of their lives from adolescence, reproductive age, and menopause. She enjoys creating bonds with her patients and understands that each patient and her story are unique. She has a special interest in contraception counseling, fertility, pregnancy, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and menopause. Dr. Huynh welcomes the opportunity to partner with you to achieve your personal health goals.
Dr. Johnson
Dr. Johnson is a Dallas native who is passionate about empowerment through women’s health. She is a Phi Beta Kappa honor society graduate of Stanford University where she received a bachelor’s degree with distinction in Human Biology. Serving in the Teach for America Corps, she taught science, health, and sex education to middle school students.
She then attended UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. In her last year of medical training, Dr. Johnson received an Albert Schweitzer Fellowship grant, which allowed her to create a yearlong community health project teaching a prenatal curriculum aimed at restoring dignity to women in rehabilitation programs. Dr. Johnson next completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital.
Dr. Johnson enjoys working with patients to personalize the healthcare experience and ensure understanding of and involvement in the medical decision making process. Her interests include contraceptive counseling, planning healthy and safe pregnancies, management of abnormal uterine bleeding and menopause, LGBTQ+ reproductive healthcare, and treatment of cervical dysplasia. She is certified in the Da Vinci robot and aims for minimally invasive surgery for her patients whenever possible. Dr. Johnson lives in the Bishop Arts/Kessler neighborhood, and she is very excited to be serving the women of her home community with Kessler Women’s Healthcare.

Dr. Knickerbocker
Dr. Angelica Knickerbocker is a New Jersey native but spent much of her life in Florida. She recently joined Kessler Women’s Healthcare, where she has the privilege of working alongside four outstanding women physicians. She graduated from New York University with high honors in Anthropology. She then worked as a clinical researcher at the University of Miami while completing her Master of Public Health degree. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Angelica completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, one of the largest safety-net hospitals in the country. Angelica served as a delegate to the Committee of Interns & Residents and chaired the hospital-wide Quality and Safety Committee. She was selected to serve as Administrative Chief Resident by her colleagues.
Dr. Knickerbocker is passionate about empowering women with the tools to be their healthiest selves during all stages of life. She is interested in contraception and reproductive planning; low and high-risk pregnancy and prenatal care; lactation and postpartum care; medical and surgical management of abnormal uterine bleeding; perimenopause; caring for the LGBTQ community and beyond. She enjoys minimally invasive surgery and utilizes the DaVinci robot.
Physician Assistants
Reena Patel, PA
Reena is a Physician Assistant originally from the Dallas area. She received her undergraduate degree in Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin. During this time, she was a member of an organization called Women in Medicine and was able to volunteer with other women in STEM to help serve the community. She worked as a certified medical assistant at an OBGYN practice in Austin prior to attending PA school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Upon completion of PA school, she received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. The physicians and staff of Kessler Women’s Healthcare would like to welcome you to our medical practice and share with you what makes Kessler Women’s Healthcare a unique and exceptional place to receive women’s health care services.
After many years of sharing medical office space in solo practices, Kessler Women’s Healthcare was opened in 2008 at 1330 North Beckley Avenue in Dallas, TX. Our location was chosen for its proximity to Methodist Dallas Medical Center and convenient commute from anywhere in the metroplex. We offer private parking, but our office is also easily accessible by public transportation. Our goal was to create an environment that allowed us the rare opportunity to offer a different way to deliver women’s health services in a welcoming, calm space.

The four physicians at Kessler Women’s Healthcare are extensively trained and experienced specialists in obstetrics and gynecology services that includes care for women from adolescence through their post-menopausal years. Recognized experts in both laparoscopic and robotic surgery, our physicians have been honored by their peers and patients as Super Doctors in Texas Monthly magazine, Best Doctors in Dallas by D Magazine and Mom Approved by Dallas Child Magazine. In addition to their private practice work, they also serve as resident physician educators and have trained many area gynecology surgeons in robotic surgery, including single-site robotic surgery.
